DROP OFF RECYCLING PROGRAM

 The Clark County Commissioners and the District will be providing to the residents of the unincorporated areas of the County and municipal areas not covered by the present mandatory recycling program a drop off recycling option.

We acknowledge the past months without curbside service has caused problems and disappointment with many of you.  However, we hope your patience with us and concern for the environment will make this a successful program for everyone in Clark County.

The following is a list of drop off recycling locations available to you:
Otisco Fire House
Memphis Fire House
Henryville Beside Post Office
Starlite Fire House
Utica Fire House on Utica Pike
New Washington County Highway Garage
Bennettsville Fire House
Clark County Solid Waste District
INDOT Substation

What Items are accepted?
Aluminum Cans
Newspapers
Phonebooks
Flattened Cardboard
Glass Bottles & Jars
Steel "Tin" Cans
Magazines
Junk Mail
Flattened Paperboard
Plastic Milk Jugs, Water, and Soda Bottles

#1 & #2 Plastic Bottles, except oil, bleach, and antifreeze bottles or bottles that contained chemicals.
Bottles with the recycling emblem #1 or #2 on them ONLY.
